Look at how tired i look..

It's scary how much could change within a year..

Last year, this time, I was doing something totally different..

I know that I've neglected this blog, it's just cos I'm working 5 or 6 days a week, and how interesting can my life get?

There is nothing to blog about practically..

Or when I decide to be less lazy to blog, something has to crop up..

But oh well, my life has been pretty routine-ish ..

Work, weekends visit granny, rest, and by the time I realise it, it's Monday again..

& I've haven't been sleeping well for almost 2 weeks.

Waking up at 2-3am everyday and managing to sleep at 4-5am..

Screwed body clock..

On a random note, despite being tired and all..

I must admit I've been learning ALOT.. learning things I dint get to learn while in school..

& i'm grateful for that..

Grateful that God did not forget to wake me up every morning, grateful that God keeps my family and friends safe..

I'm not saying that my life is perfect, but there are little perfections in life that makes it better..

One saying I will never forget:" There is always SOMETHING to be grateful for everyday"

All we need to, is to learn how to appreciate the littlest things in life..

If everyone can do that, everyone will be happier..

Trust me on that.

Granny's hands look something like this.. wrinkly..

I have been looking at her hands these 2 days when I visit her at the hospital, and I saw her right hand has a bruise, I reckon it's because they have to stick a needle in her hand while she is hospitalized.

So, i asked her

"mama, 痛吗?"

she said, no.. while smiling back at me..

These few week have been really tough for me.. Work was stressful, and grandma is ill..

Everytime I visit her she looks so happy to see us, holding our hands..

& everytime when we have to leave I will feel guilty because I won't know when will I have time to visit her again..

Everyday no matter I'm st home or outside after work, I will be thinking about her once in awhile, hoping there will be someone home accompanying her..

It's not easy for me to type this down because it's heartbreaking for me, yet I cannot do anything to make it better..

I just hope she gets well soon.. and I hope she knows that I really love her..

Honestly, I do like reading about horoscopes..

& I don't think they are like fortune telling or foretelling the future kinda thingy.. So I can accept that.. Cos in my opinion, I think fortune telling, reading your furture these kinda things are unbelieveable.

Church friend's 21st b day and his sister got this place in a private club..

THE present

The party was pretty cool, managed to talk to Deildee and Genie about BlackJack and Wolverine (Dusty's brothers)

but the weather was mega hot, so that was a little killjoy..

After that we walked to Little India to have Naan..

Which xz and ah hulk have been raving and raving about..

& the world is so small really.. Managed to meet xz's and ah hulk's friends at the same restaurant in little india on a saturday night

One of my parents got a 500bucks voucher to MBS so we stayed a night there..

Mega suay cos just nice i was having my period, so my cramps were killing me and I was pms-ing like crazy. But the picture tells otherwise. HAHA

My recent annoying photo face

TO be honest, it was kinda disappointing when I first stepped in

I was expecting this grand lobby with classy atmosphere. But no.. Filled with tourists,no seats provided,alot of indians. Im not racist but some of them were really irritating cos they like to stare at you and you dont know what the hell do they want.

The checking out counter was FILLED with people and they only allowed check in at 3pm, check out at 11am.

Which is crazy cos 3pm check in is like SO LATE !?

& the queue was so freaking long (well,it's shorter for the check in counter) but we waited damn long also.. (which sucks cos i absolutely HATE waiting)

& this is what happens when they dont have seats in the lobby..

Well, they do, but its like every 200m,one small couch. FOR WHAT ?!

I supposed they tried to make it classier by having mini orchestra playing classical music. But you can only hear them when you are RIGHT SMACK in front of them...

At this point i was seriously mega bored already.

Finally checked in , on the way to our room..

For less than 500bucks, don't expect much of a view la k. We were on the 14th floor.. Not so bad right..

I was telling my sis, imagine we dint book a room and end up staying on the 2nd level.

LOL . FOLs if that really happened.

The toilet was pretty awesome except no bathtub !! >.<

Actually they only allowed 2 people in a room.. But end up 4 of us stayed for the night.

Gramps went home after dinner...

One thing I loved about the room is that they have this full length mirror beside one of the beds..

which means u can CAMWHORE until your camera explode

For a room less than 500 bucks, it was REALLY spacious and the balcony was super huge.. but it was empty. -.- No chairs , no nothing.

You cannot walk through the pathway without bumping into someone

& the pool is so damn crowded, i bet you cannot even lie flat and float on the surface without knocking into another person also.

How to enjoy when the pool so crowded?

Their food is mega expensive.. This in normal foodcourts are like 4bucks?

But in MBS its 14bucks. NO KIDDING.

But despite the crazily expensive price, the food there is really good..

my hair is always perfect when there is no one else there to see it.

No kidding. Always when im outside my hair is like shit.

But when i reach home ( in this case , the room), my hair is perfect.

Actually i took ALOT of camwhore pics.. LOL but i decided not to post it up here even though i think its quite nice.. keke :P

Next morning, before checking out at 11am (crazily early time),we went up to the obseration deck. & it was super sunny..

& i spotted this dollar coin outside on the ledge and was wondering HOW THE HECK did it end up there.. cos judging by the design of the edge of the rails, it's pretty impossible it will end up there

It's a whole new world when we start growing up..

I used to worry about, what type of clothes do I wanna wear, what kind of handphone will be the coolest, what must I have to make me not feel "left out"..

Now, I worry about being not good enough for my own standards.

I worry about how should I be juggling so many things, work,studies, church, family and friends.

I worry about money

I worry about my future

I hate worrying. And honestly, I wish I didn't have to grow up.

But then again, I tell myself everyday, at least I can get up every morning to work. Not everyone is so blessed to be able to do that.

I think, that's the only way I can push myself to work harder..

Not emo-ing, just suddenly feel that I have another huge responsibility.

Oh well, suck it up.

Forgive me for being so lazy, and non happening that's why my blog is so damn dead..

So, I went to Universal studios with Steph and her dad :)

But overall, it was pretty awesome except the fact that it rained for an hour plus?

Heyo. End of Poly life.. so damn fast.. I know.. To be honest, I really loved poly life, the friends i made, the things i learnt.. I changed alot and grew alot too.. yea, mentally and physically.

You know, 10 years ago when we switched on the tv and when the news report of some natural disasters around, we will be so shocked and shake our heads..
But now, every evening when i watch the news, it's gonna have at least 1 natural disaster report.. and it's really very sad..
and if u follow the news, you should know some parts of Australia has been hit by flood..

This man, risked his life to save a kangaroo from the flood. Some of you might think it's stupid or bo liao, that's because you are freakin heartless.
but to me, i have a softer spot for animals rather than for human, so i really admire these guys for saving the animals too instead of just caring for themselves..

Sometimes when I return to the bible and remember about revelations, about how the world is gonna end and humans will go through 7 years of disasters..
I think we are in that era..
Look at the amount of disasters that hit different parts of the world now.. -sad-
Then comes 2012, people who believes that the world will end in 2012, but christians believe that we wont know when is the right time God decides to come back..
But looking at this, I really feel that I wont be surprised if the world would end at 2012..
On the way back from church just now (even though the topic today wasnt that), I was thinking, since humans can calculate in which part of the year the moon will be round, as in full moon, why isnt it possible for them to come up with the Maya calendar?
For those who don't know what is a Maya calendar, it is a calendar that ends at 2012..predicting the world's end. Can go research about it, quite interesting.
but those who are scared of dying one, you can skip that. :P

It's my mega cute, handsome, smart, 有性格 nephew Junya Wong who turns 2 this year ! :):)

(yea that's their personal pool in their frontyard..) decorated with balloons.
This babyboy turns 2 this year !! So fast.. I still remember seeing his first picture taken when he was born.. :) And his first birthday held at Dempsey's last year with Mickey theme with the life size Mickey balloon.

And this year's theme is Cars ! As you can see from the first picture. The whole house was decorated with Cars' balloons, paper plates, cups.
There were only 3 kids that day, all 3 are boys. One is Junya, one is his friend Cayden (below) and my other baby nephew Jason scott :)

So, I've heard stories about this smartie.. He knows every single car brand and he knows which is better than which.. Any car that pass by his vision, he can tell you IMMEDIATELY what brand is that car. No joke. Mega smart. And I think he is only 3 this year..
And because someone stupidly forgot to bring her memory card, I had to wait for my cousin Sharon (junya's mum) and Grace Lardie Woo to upload them into FB then grabbing it from there..
And my cousin is pretty well to do, mega hugeass bungalow that we explored.. Designed tastefully with very simple design.. stupid person dint bring camera, so I dont have pictures of the house... But try to have a vague idea from looking at the following pics la. haha :D

Never felt so tired for a long time already.
Saturday woke up at 6am to go work with Silvia and Xiangzhou.. ended work, walked around and went home to "rest".

School just started on Tuesday, and Wednesday I am supposed to go to school for FYP instead of classes. But today because most of my team mates are busy, they cancelled fyp meeting and today is my free day.. I guess it's gonna be the ONLY free Wednesday I'm going to have.

But, I believe God listens to my prayers.. The night before school reopened, I prayed asking Him to at least let me have a non-miserable day at school, and true enough, I got a great faci and friendly team mates.. Which I am really contented.. At least my first day wasn't sucky..

On tuesday i met my bumped into 3 of my fyp team mates and as usual they were being jokers.. so one of them disturbed me by pretending to ask for my number.. those of u who know about my situation will know that I will want to entertain those people.. although we used to be great friends. USED TO BE. But at least there is still a nice person who i can relate to in the team.. but yea..

And I wasnt so upset about them disturbing me (cos everyone who knows them, knows they are like that).. But one of my classmates asked me "are they talking about you?". Immediately I felt that those fyp mates don't treat me as a friend.
I mean, if you really treat me as a friend, will you let me go through this embarrassment not? Moreover, they are all guys and I'm the only girl.. come on. seriously?

so.... those who read my blog knew that the last time i came to Bugis with Eunice, wo ai tai mei was closed particularly that day -.-

so, recently, i went to Bugis with Eunice again cos we needed to get new wallets..

& it was open ! (Y)

Verdict : not as awesome as what people exaggerated it to be. But the combo is cheap though.. This whole set, the main, side and drink only cost about 6+ 7, depending on which combo you choose. And the portion is pretty big (to me)

then, we went on to get our stuff.... and i was changing into my new wallet i got .. and Eunice kept snapping pics (ugly ones) since she was bored and overly obsessed with me ..

and... I will be sailing off this weekend on a cruise to Penang and Phuket :D

cant wait .. so much yummy food to eat.. i know.. should not eat too much.. not that i need anymore fats on me..

I love food toooooo much to give them up :):):)
so yea, awesome..

Internet has been really quick when i was uploading a hundred of pictures. which was awesome .
but now when i'm catching on The Mentalist, it slowed down again. And I dont know why the other 2 pictures which I later uploaded, isnt uploaded.. -.- whatever.

SO... Im gonna start on the Marina Barrage pictures which is kinda long delayed since it's only recently uploaded but not all are.. so, these are the few which I editted :P

This week has been unbelievably tiring for me..

not that im complaining. I kinda like being busy..
